Sungai Baksoka
Sungai Baksoka adalah sungai permukaan di Geoarea Pacitan. Sisa-sisa undak-sungai menyingkapkan endapan lempung hitam Kuarter Formasi Kalipucung, yang sekaligus menjadi lokasi tipe dari satuan batuan tersebut. Endapan sungai tua ini menindih tak selaras batugamping pasiran Formasi Oyo.
The Baksoka River is a surface river in the Pacitan Geoarea. Remains of river steps reveal Quaternary black clay deposits of the Kalipucung Formation, which is also the location of this type of rock unit. These old river deposits overlap the sandy limestones of the Oyo Formation.
Pada tahun 1955, Van Heekeren yang melakukan kajian di sungai ini menemukan artefak-artefak batu dari Zaman Paleolitikum, yang tercampur dengan endapan aluvium sungai. Hasil budaya zaman batu tua ini dinamakannya Budaya Pacitanian.
