Pantai Buyutan
Pantai terjal Buyutan dicirikan dengan fenomena pengangkatan aktif yang menghasilkan seri undak-pantai. Pantai disusun oleh batugamping pasiran Formasi Oyo yang miring 6 derajat ke selatan. Di depan pantai terdapat onggokan batu yang membentuk sea-stacks. Salah satu sea-stack yang memiliki bangun unik disakralkan oleh penduduk setempat. Pulau-pulau kecil di lepas pantai dulunya ditafsirkan sebagai tanjung, yang kemudian tercerai berai karena pengaruh struktur geologi dan abrasi oleh gelombang besar.
Buyutan’s steep coast is characterized by an active uplift phenomenon which results in a series of coastal steps. The beach is composed of sandy limestone of the Oyo Formation which slopes 6 degrees to the south. In front of the beach there are piles of rocks that form sea-stacks. One of the sea-stacks that has a unique structure is sacred by local residents. The small islands off the coast were previously interpreted as headlands, which were later scattered due to the influence of geological structures and abrasion by large waves.
